Pilates is a holistic physical training to strengthen the deep muscles, improve movement coordination and posture.
The focus of the exercises and processes is the "powerhouse": the supporting muscles of the spine. By consciously activating the powerhouse, deep-seated, mostly smaller muscle groups are activated and thus ensure stability and strength.
Another important aspect that is specifically strengthened by Pilates training is the pelvic floor muscles and the core muscles. The conscious breathing during the different exercises completes this fluent training method!
